NO BORDERS

Back in 2001-2002 I produced NO BORDERS as my final degree show project at Westminster University in London , UK. My dissertation spoke about war photography and collages.

My project was influenced by the year i lived and studied in Jerusalem in 1999.

the sentence “Like a liquid emotion the wave travels a thousand miles to meet us like every emotion, it is born of a storm” by unknown artist was the starting point were all my memories came back.

Back in the days my main interests within the image world were installations: video or photographic. “My work was mainly influenced and based on human condition subjects. The work for my degree show ‘ no borders’ – is a video collage made of 30 different layers of 6 different oceans, skies and horizons that i filmed during a year. This work is dedicated to every human being who still dies or struggles today for a piece of land.
